Do car accessories and car care products make good Father’s Day gifts?
Father’s Day is fast approaching and most people will be thinking “What on earth can I get Dad for Father’s Day this year” or words to that effect! The fall back presents for men always seems to be socks, ties, slippers or aftershave and whereas there’s nothing wrong with them, they are after all things that are always needed, its just that they’ve probably got a drawer full of them!! Well if he owns a car, chances are he likes to tinker with it, lovingly cleaning and polishing it, buffing it up to a showroom shine – just before the heavens open or he goes for a long bug killing drive on the motorway – you know what it’s like, so having a bit of a stash of some quality car cleaning products would be really helpful and will always come in handy at some point. A true car lover can never have enough car shampoo, polish, wax, chamois’, cloths, brushes etc etc!!
Even if he’s not into cleaning his own car and would rather pay for someone else to do it, he probably spends quite a bit of time in it driving around either for work, pleasure or as an unpaid taxi service, and a few useful car accessories could make his journeys that bit less stressful or at the very least more pleasant. Novelty car air fresheners are not only fun but smell great too, like the Doctor Who Tardis and Dalek or a football, these will make great Father’s Day gifts that won’t break the bank – even a piggy bank! If he’s into gadgets then a holder for his mobile phone, MP3 player or Sat Nav would go down a treat or even an in-car charger, power inverter or multi socket for making sure he can keep all his gadgets, including his laptop, charged and ready to use whilst he’s out and about.
If he spends a lot of time on the road and after a long drive comes home with a few twinges in his back or neck, then comfort car accessories might be the way to go, he would almost certainly really appreciate a back, head or neck cushion to help ease those aches and pains but wouldn’t necessarily think of buying one for himself. Likewise with in-car organisers, whether it is a wallet organiser that attaches to the car sun visor and will keep important papers, a pen and sunglasses to hand or a boot organiser where he can safely store all sorts of paraphernalia and keep them from rolling around the boot. You could also help him add a bit of individual style to his car with some new wheel trims, car mats, seat and steering wheel covers and other various bits and bobs.
With the vast array of car accessories and car care products available it can be hard to know where to start and you can spend as much or as little as you want but however much you spend they will always be an excellent and welcome present, whether for Father’s Day, his birthday or just to say thanks for being a taxi:-)
